Crush Secure Spot in Playoffs

The Crush Battled the Ozark Mountain Wild on Monday, July 19th. The Crush were in the playoffs, but in danger of being knocked out. Mason Morgan took the mound and went to work for the Crush. Morgan threw a complete shutout game with only 2 hits. 

The Crush offense got a slow start, but were able to put up runs in the bottom of the third. Shane Poe started off the Crush with a walk and advanced to third on a wild pitch and passed ball. Lane Crowden singled to bring home Poe and then stole second. Davis Blair was walked and Tyler Weiner singled to load the bases for Jacob Stoker. Stoker singled to bring in Crowden before the Wild shut down the Crush offensive streak.

With the Crush's win over the Wild, the Crush secured a spot in the playoffs, beginning on Wednesday, July 21st at 11:00 am
